A Saturday in Bodega Bay

Your mom and I spent the day in peaceful Bodega Bay. It's a wonderfully serene place on the coast with a lot of great memories for the two of us, so every now and then it calls us back, and living in Davis has made it easier to get there, even if just for a quick daytrip.

The waterfront has always had a curing, restorative effect on your mom. 

We always envy the people who live out here, and we always toy with the idea of - somehow, someday - owning a place out here when we retire, or something like that. 

The marina is usually slow when we visit on the weekends. 

We imagine what kinds of history these former structures contain. 

Peace and quiet except for small bay waves lapping.
