Easter weekend in Windsor with the Schott's

Your mom and I joined Marshall and Laura and their two kids for the weekend in Windsor, a small town north of here. We had a great time hanging out with some of our favorite people and keeping it low key.

We all hit up this "greasy spoon" (as Marshall describes it) restaurant for breakfast in Madera on the way out of town.
We drove up to Healdsburg the first day to have lunch and try some cool microbrewed beers at Bear Republic Brewing Company.
Marshall always knows how to put a big smile on Hazel's face!
And your mom always has a blast holding and playing with cute little Roscoe
Hazel and Roscoe got some fun little toys and some candy on Easter morning.
And I spent the morning running around and playing with Hazel. She was not fooled by this trick!
The ladies got massages and facials while Marshall and I went to the nearby Santa Rosa to hit up Russian River Brewing Company, another awesome microbrewery in the area.
Part of the draw was this beer, Pliny the Elder, which has held the spot of number one rated beer in the world for quite some time. Needless to say, it was an excellent beer.
Hanging out outside Russian River, the kids got some downtime with their daddy.
That afternoon we spent some time in the pool, and had a lot of fun acclimating the little ones to the joy of playing in the water.
The night before we left, we had a great dinner at Johnny Garlic's. Your mom was not too pleased with a burp I let out right before this photo was taken. I don't blame her! : )
