Sunday on North Beach

Your mom and I decided that a beach day was needed, so a beach day we took. And while we've seen nearly every beach north and south of us for a hundred miles each way, we craved our favorite spot in Point Reyes.

On the way to the beach we decided to stop at this adorable cafe, one which I pass every day on my way to work but have never visited. It turned out amazing, with excellent renditions of classic diner breakfasts which we capped off with a slice of pie! 

And we made it! The weather was beautiful in Point Reyes National Seashore, and North Beach wasn't too busy for a summer Sunday.

We set up the tent, I cracked a beer, and we hung out about as relaxed as a human could be. It was gorgeous. 

I forgot about work tomorrow and enjoyed the late evening sunset as it cooled off.
