The Big Fresno Fair!

Your mom and I joined Marshall and Laura and the kids for a day at the Fresno Fair! The fair features a bunch of exhibits of local art, agriculture, and industry along with a ton of food vendors and entertainers. This year we also made a point to see a couple horse races!

Your mom and Laura looking beautiful!
We rode a bus from our neighborhood to the fair, and Marshall and Laura's daughter Hazel was full of energy to begin the day.
We got their bright and early, and people were already lined up to get in before it opened.
One of our first stops was the Home Arts gallery to see how Marshall and I did in the homebrew competition. Sadly, we were nowhere to be found.
Your mom absolutely loves these photo booths, so we had to partake, of course!
One of the joys of the fair is all the carnival flair food. This is a deep fried Oreo! It was delicious, as the frying makes the cookie really soft and doughy and chewy. We also got our hands on a deep fried Twinkie!
We made a point to bet on a couple horse races. On one, we played the odds and won a whopping six bucks!
The fair always features a bunch of award winning livestock and some more rare birds, like this golden pheasant.
