Every first Sunday, on a huge decommissioned air strip in Alameda is an enormous antique fair. Hundreds and hundreds of vendors and private sellers come, set up booths, and sell vintage and antique items through the day. Your mom and I went today with a couple things in mind to hunt for, and it became an exhaustive search with some small successes. We left the camera in the car, so I can't show you what it looked like inside, but one of our favorite parts of days like this is the journey!

On the way up, your mom did most of the driving, and I played with the camera. That's one of her favorite rings! |

These are the small mountains you have to pass to get out of the Central Valley and closer to the coast. |

After the fair, your mom struck a pose on the way out : ) |
