Starparty at Hensley Lake

This semester your mom is taking an astronomy class, and for extra credit we went up to Hensley Lake to have her professor give us a tour of the night sky. We came a little early and brought a picnic to check out the area around the lake, and it was beautiful. The stars were amazing, too!

It was a great night, and the wildflowers were in bloom along the shores of the lake.
What a pretty landscape!
I love when your mom is silly : )
We had our picnic on this big rock overlooking the lake at sunset.
The sunset was gorgeous that night, too!
Mr. Wymer, your mom's hilarious astronomy professor, explains the mechanism of some of the telescopes.
After the starparty, we laid under the stars for a while to relax and take it all in. It was a wonderful evening with your mom.
