Tonight our roommate Jamie's first show being backed up by a live band was at Howie and Son's in Visalia. The show turned out to be a phenomenon. Those guys know how to get the crowd laughing and swaying, a combination which always makes for a good night, and the live band really added a cool feel to their raps, which tend to have a sort of jazzy or rag-time beat behind them.
