Your mom's favorite little coastal town is Carmel, so I set up a surprise trip for the two of us to go there this weekend, for the two year anniversary of my flying out to Florida to meet her for the first time. I talked with her boss at the bookstore to get her the weekend off (sadly she works every weekend right now), and when I surprised her with that, she was already in tears she was so happy! This trip was very special, because it's when I asked your mom to marry me. She said yes, but the story didn't end there ;)
