Your mom and I were back in the heart of London to catch a show at The Globe and explore more of the various neighborhoods in this diverse city.
| Doesn't matter the city, wherever you have lots of people you have buskers entertaining them for a buck (or in this case, maybe some pence). This folky group was rocking out on the tube on our way. |
| We got a taste for "Cornish Cream," an amazing rendition of ice cream as we bounded around the town again. |
| The architecture and waterscapes never ceased to amaze, and of course I was always on the shutter. |
| Making our way towards The Globe, we cruised through Burough Market, where it seemed like countless stalls were set up selling all kinds of food. |
| We had lunch before the show at Swan, a nice place with a good view right next door to The Globe. |
| From our seats we could spy a French student group and all their hijinks. |
| We saw Antony and Cleopatra, my first time. I hate that I have a hard time following all the lines in Shakepeare's old English, but the tragedy of it all was crystal clear. |
| The white building on the right is The Globe, a recreation of Shakespeare's actual performance theater. |
| After the show we meandered around the city some more, of course still ogling the diverse architecture. |
| We somehow wandered into the financial district. This is the Bank of London. |
| And boy were there suits everywhere! This swanky alleyway market was packed full of restaurants and bars and nearly everyone inside was donned in formal business attire. Talk about happy hour! |
