Visiting the Schott's

Your mom and I traveled back to Fresno this weekend to visit our friends Marshall and Laura and their kids, Hazel and Roscoe. Laura's pregnant, too! So they'll have another little girl joining the family before too long. It'd been too long since we all spent some time together, and there was definitely catching up to do.

When we arrived, Hazel was busy making masterpieces. Laura does a great job letting this little girl's creativity flow and finding ways to encourage it.

The kids had recently discovered hopscotch, so I made a couple courts for them with the chalk, and Hazel demonstrated her jumping prowess. 

It seems one of their favorite things is swinging in the hammock, so we had no problem pushing them and listening to their squealing as they giggled going back and forth. 

It had been far too long since your mom got to see her little man, Roscoe. She adores that boy. 

Marshall had recently completed his most recent homebrewing project, a five tap "keezer," and I couldn't help but make myself a flight and take a picture. The guy really knows how to make a damn fine beer. Later, he invited some of the local homebrew club members over to share some of their beers, and I got to taste quite a few really well made homebrews from the best brewers in the valley. Good stuff, and a ton of fun!
