Adventures in Kings Canyon

Your mom and I are in a love affair with the National Parks around here, and today we visited Kings Canyon National Park to trek down into Crystal Caves, up to the top of Moro Rock, and out into Crescent Meadow.

In Crystal Caves, these little stalactites have been broken, but drip by drip they will reform.

This is the view of Kings Canyon from the top of Moro Rock. It was incredibly windy, and at one point two birds zoomed by us going so fast it sounded like a small plane had swooped down!
