Precious Sunset Pow Wow at Bass Lake

Your mom and I drove up to Bass Lake today to see a Pow Wow. Your mom has been taking some interesting Native American studies courses at school, and she was invited to see this annual Pow Wow, which this year was at the pretty Bass Lake. It was quite an experience!

Much of the ceremony is traditional dancing to intense drums wearing the ornate dress.

This Grass Dancer really put on a wonderful show.

It was fun to experience some these guys take their dance seriously, treating it with a very observable dignity.
